Yesterday (21 November), Eurostar launched a winter promotion which will run for just one week, ending at 22:59 GMT on Monday 27 November.

The operator is offering 75,200 fares at £39, for travel between 3 January and 16 March 2024 from London St Pancras to Paris, Brussels, Lille, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Passengers will have the option to visit Germany via connecting in Brussels to destinations such as Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Dortmund. Eurostar hopes that people will buy the tickets as Christmas gifts.

Eurostar describes its offer as a budget-friendly and sustainable way to explore its extended network, describing it as an opportunity to take “a seamless journey between city centres offers travellers the chance to uncover new destinations or to revisit their old favourites, immersing in the culture, cuisine, and distinct character of European locales.”

Eurostar also boasts a new website, app and loyalty programme, which celebrated its joining with Thalys on 1 October this year. It promises passengers a quick and convenient check-in and generous baggage allowance with no weight restrictions.
