British Transport Police officers are investigating a sexual assault on a girl while she was travelling on a train in South London.

The girl was assaulted on Saturday, 16 September at about 10.15 pm as the train was travelling between Wallington and Balham railway station.

The girl was sitting with a friend on the train with her friend when a man began talking to them. After a while, he sexually assaulted her, then afterwards exposed himself to her.

Detectives have released this CCTV image in connection with the incident and would like to speak to the man in the image as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation.
