The Collectors Club has released three new Limited Edition models that are available exclusively to club members.

The Graham Farish N scale Ivatt 2MT has been upgraded so that it is now available as a SOUND FITTED model, with the next model being No. 46441 in BR Lined Maroon livery, with the original locomotive being saved for preservation by Dr Peter Beet and based at Steamtown Carnforth until the 1990s.

The original 46441 was painted in BR Lined Maroon livery with the later version of crest in 1992 and operated on mainline and preserved railways until 2002 when it was withdrawn from operational service and put on static display at the Ribble Steam Museum. It is currently being restored at the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway.

The Bachmann Collectors Club Limited Edition release of 46441 is available in standard format or SOUND FITTED versions, featuring many separately fitted details, NEM coupling pockets, a pre-fitted speaker and a Next18 DCC interface.

SOUND FITTED models incorporate a Zimo MS590N18 sound decoder which provides realistic sounds straight out of the box with both DCC and analogue control. Only 500 models have been produced and are available at a special members-only price of 10% below the RRP for an equivalent main-range model. Standard models, catalogue No. 372-625K, cost 148.46, and SOUND FITTED versions, catalogue No. 372-625KSF, cost 238.46.

The other two limited-edition models are both OO scale BR Mk1 POT Post Office Stowage Vans, with two models available in original Post Office Red livery. They perfectly complement the Post Office Sorting Vans, either with or without nets, that were previously released in the Bachmann Branchline range. Together, impressive TPO trains can be assembled for the first time.

Although the specific diagram of the vehicles reproduced as Bachmann Branchline models did not carry Post Office Red livery in service, many collectors have requested Bachmann to produce models in this original colour scheme, and these new models are the result.

The new models carry running numbers W80423 (catalogue No. 39-770K) and W80417 (catalogue No. 39-771K). Only 504 of each version is available at a special members-only price of 58.46, which is 10% below the RRP for an equivalent model.

All three new models are now in stock and can be purchased by existing Collectors Club members online at www.bachmann-collectorsclub.co.uk. Anyone who is not currently a Collectors Club member can join online and be eligible to purchase other models in the growing range of Club exclusive models straight away.
