This weekend, Matt Peddlesden, the Executive Producer for Dovetail Games which recently released Train Sim World 4, is running his second charity stream of the year by streaming Train Sim World gameplay and the new TSW PC Editor.
The streaming is set to benefit the charity SpecialEffect, and is designed to support its “One Special Day” campaign that is also running this weekend.
SpecialEffect is a charity that aims to help people with disabilities to take part in gaming, and to provide them with advice and equipment; it also works with game developers to make games more accessible.
“One Special Day” is a day when the video games industry and friends come together to raise funds for the SpecialEffect charity, which by using adaptive technology, enables physically disabled people across the world to have fun while experiencing inclusion, independence, and a better quality of life for.
One Special Day was established in 2015 and is SpecialEffect’s flagship annual fundraising campaign.
As well as donations from the streaming, the charity raises money from donations from sales of games, direct donations, and other events throughout the weekend.
Streaming will start at 10 am on both Saturday and Sunday for around 24 hours throughout the weekend, and will be available on both the official Dovetail Games twitch channels at http://twitch.tv/trainsimworldofficial and YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/DovetailGamesDTG..
Donations to the SpecialEffect charity can be made through Matt Peddlesden s JustGiving page here’.
