Detectives investigating a serious assault by a man that took place last month at London Bridge Underground Station have released a CCTV image in the hope that someone may recognise him.
The assault occurred at 12.50 am on Sunday, 20 August at the exit from London Bridge Underground Station. The victim had tapped through the exit barrier but was tailgated behind by a man alongside two other men who tapped through.
There was a brief altercation between the men in which the victim was punched multiple times in the face and kicked in the head. He was taken to hospital where it was found he had sustained a bleed to the brain.
One man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released under investigation. Detectives believe the man captured in the CCTV image could have information that may help their investigation.
