Passengers travelling with Great Western Railway are being advised of track upgrade work taking place from the 17th to the 22nd of September, which will affect journeys between and Weston-super-Mare.

The work will see track replaced between Bedminster and Worle, level crossing upgrades between and Worle, and structural repair at Parson Street.

During the planned period of work taking place from Sunday the 17th to and including Friday the 22nd of September, no trains will operate between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare.

Rail travel between Bristol Temple Meads and via Westbury will still be available to customers including diverted services.

Between Weston-super-Mare and Taunton and between London and the South West via Castle Cary will also still be in operation.
