A new partnership between Network Digital Marketing and rail operator, TransPennine Express, will mean anyone working in the healthcare, education and charity sectors will receive 20% off their Advance Purchase tickets.
The discount is available across TPE’s services in the North of England and Scotland, and is valid on both First Class and Standard Class seating.
NHS workers can book through the Health Service Discounts website, carers via the Discount for Carers, teachers via the Dicount for Teaches and charity workers via the Charity Worker Discount website.

This is so Discriminatory this discount just shouldn’t be applied, I feel sure sure that many other workers could do with similar discounts, those on minimum wages, etc meanwhile those consultants, managers, sisters, ward managers are laughing
Working in a supermarket we was key workers, now since the flu is over we aren’t key worker anymore
The only problem I see with this is, that TPE are NOT very good at running a train service.
They still don’t have enough drivers and those they do have Don’t like working.
I disagree with this. Just because you work in particular jobs should not mean discounted travel. Everyone is find times difficult and everyone should pay similar fares.
I don’t agree with this as it is simple discrimination. EVERYONE should just pay the same fare.
