The East Lancashire Railway is to host an evening with the Chair of Network Rail and the Heritage Railway Association, Peter, Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill, which will see him discuss his life and work across the rail industry. The event will take place at the heritage railways Bury Transport Museum, which houses a fantastic array of the country’s transportation legacy.
Since the 1970s, Lord Hendy has been part of British transport and as the former Commissioner of Transport for London will share his fascinating insight and stories of the industry after guests have enjoyed a delicious two-course meal and a glass of prosecco (full menu below).
