In line with other rain operators, services on Chiltern Railways on the next two Saturdays will be affected by strikes called by the RMT as well as by ASLEF on Friday, 1 September.
On the strike days of Saturday, 26 August and Saturday, 2 September, Chiltern Railways will only run a limited service and only between 08:00 and 22:30. There will be no services north of Banbury, and a significantly reduced service on other routes.
On the days following the strikes, Sunday, 27 August and Sunday, 3 September, services will no start until about 09:00. Also on Sunday, 27 August, there is an event at Wembley Stadium for which Chiltern Railways will implement an enhanced timetable during the afternoon.
As normal train times will not apply on days that industrial action is taking place, customers intending to travel should check their journeys in advance on the Chiltern Railways website www.chilternrailways.co.uk or its app.
Anyone with tickets for travel on Saturday, 26 August can use them on Friday, 25 August or up to and including Tuesday, 29 August.

Services between Princes Risborough and Aylesbury
Because of continuing HS2 engineering work, there will be no services between Aylesbury and Princes Risborough until Sunday 29 October. The suspension of services is to allow over a mile of track and signalling equipment to be installed for HS2 to allow it to pass beneath the existing line south of Aylesbury.
During the closure, Chiltern Railways will be operating an hourly rail replacement bus service in each direction, and extra services from September when schoolchildren return to school after the summer holidays.
