Chiltern Railway is advising customers travelling on its network of ongoing industrial action and engineering works which will bring significant impact to services.

Strike action by union ASLEF will see its overtime ban continue from Monday the 7th to Saturday the 12th of August and will see some of the rail operator’s services cancelled altogether. The services cancellation will avoid the risk of on-the-day cancellations which will provide passengers with more certainty with regard to travel during the industrial action period.

Chiltern Railways will not be able to support The Betfred Challenge Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday the 12th of August with services. Customers making their way to the event are advised to travel using London Underground services.

Chiltern Railways passengers are advised to check their travel plans ahead of making a journey via the rail operator’s website by clicking here or via its app. Industry systems may not have seen all cancelled services removed and therefore, a note has been applied to specific trains informing customers that they will not operate next week.
