Chiltern Railways is advising its customers to carefully plan their travel arrangements for the upcoming week due to industrial action by the union. From today until Saturday, 8 July, an overtime ban will be in place, resulting in modified timetables across the entire network.

During this period, service frequency will be reduced on certain routes, and all services will conclude earlier than usual. Passengers are advised to anticipate potentially crowded journeys and to thoroughly check their itineraries prior to embarking.

Of note is Saturday 8 July, when a significant reduction in service will occur. Consequently, Chiltern Railways are urging customers to only travel on this day if necessary.

It is important to highlight that Chiltern Railways will be unable to provide transportation for the Blur concert at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 8 July. No trains will be stopping at Wembley Stadium station throughout the day. Those attending the concert are advised to utilise London Underground services to reach Wembley Stadium.

Throughout the week, Chiltern Railways has made efforts to add extra carriages to the operating services whenever possible. This proactive measure aims to increase seating capacity for passengers and minimise the risk of last-minute cancellations, offering reassurance and reliability to those planning to travel.

Customers intending to use Chiltern services next week are strongly advised to conduct a comprehensive review of their entire journey, as some regular services may have been removed.
