The has announced that it is to offer ‘Kids For A Quid’ for the 2023 season.

The popular volunteer-led railway runs trains in the Yorkshire Dales between Scruton and Leyburn.

This new offer builds on the locals discount previously announced as well as the 15% discount for RailAdvent Plus members.

Children can travel for £1 on all normal scheduled train services and the offer is valid all year round.

Nick Keegan, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Wensleydale Railway said: We introduced this offer at the beginning of the year and it has been well received by our customers. We also offer our local residents a 25% travel discount. Combining both these offers give local families a great value day out on our volunteer-led heritage railway. As the summer holidays approach, there has never been a better time to visit us!
