For the first time since 2019, visitors to will be able to catch trains all the way to the summit from Saturday, 24th June.

Trains on the originally stopped running all the way to the summit because of Covid-19, but then the upper reaches of the line remained closed so that the track could be upgraded.

During the track upgrade over 1,000 metres of track were relaid, although when the railway reopened for the 2023 season on April 1st, the service only travelled to Clogwyn station, just three-quarters of the to the summit.

Coinciding with the reopening of the line to the summit, Hafod Eryri, the popular visitor centre and restaurant at the summit, will also re-open
