British Transport Police (BTP) has released images of a male who the police believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries into an incident on a train between Newcastle and Edinburgh Waverley last March.
The incident occurred between approximately 6 pm and 7.30 pm on a train from Newcastle to Edinburgh Waverley on Friday, 10th March 2023.
The police describe the male as white, aged between 17 and 18 years old with light-brown coloured hair that is shaved at the sides and back with a longer style on top.
He was wearing a purple jumper with ‘Champion’ in white lettering on the front, blue loose-fitting jeans, and a distinctive multi-coloured retro-style North Face jacket.
British Transport Police is appealing for the male pictured, or anyone who knows him, to contact them by text on 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting incident reference number 2300028810. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
