Steam Dreams Rail Co. has revealed that it will begin operating a brand new route this month – the Garden of England Lunchtime Tour which will be hauled by steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower.
The special tour begins at London Victoria at 10am and will travel on through the stunning Kent countryside before travelling through the North Downs, onto the North Kent coast and then the impressive South Coast at Dover where passengers will travel beneath the famous White Cliffs next to the English Channel ahead of returning to London.
The first of the Garden of England Lunchtime Tours will take place on Thursday the 22nd of June, and will run through to the 29th of August, making the most of the summer months and hopefully some glorious weather!

The Garden of England Lunchtime Tours offers the following options:
Pullman Style Dining:
Offering the very best in service, creating an indulgent and luxury travel experience for passengers with armchair seating and tables set with crisp linen, embellished crockery, fresh flowers and glassware. Passengers will be welcomed with a glass of Champagne and will enjoy a specially created three-course menu designed by Executive Chef Nicholas Allen. All food is prepared on board the train using locally sourced seasonal produce.
First Class:
Offering a lighter option for passengers who will be seated within the same luxury carriages as Pullman Style Dining. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and a savoury snack box to enjoy whilst taking in the stunning vista.
Premium Standard:
Offers seating in tables of four with large windows perfect for the scenic journeys and complimentary tea and coffee. An array of refreshments is available to buy via the buffet bar and passengers can also bring their own picnics on board.

- First Class options start at £125
