Two assaulted on Rotherham platform: appeal for witnesses

The British Transport Police (BTP) is investigating an assault on two passengers – a man and a woman – at station in .

The incident occurred as the passengers left their train at around 9.20pm on Saturday 1 April when the 8.55pm service from to arrived at Kiveton Park.

Kiveton Park station is in South Anston, Rotherham. All services through the station are operated by Northern using and 195 DMUs.

Four men have already been arrested in connection with the incident, and detectives investigating the assault station have released CCTV images of men who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
