The Steam Dreams Rail Company has recently revealed dates for its 2023 Sunset Steam Express Tours, which are set to take place on Tuesdays through the summer from the 22nd of June to the 29th of August.

Departing from London Victoria at 18.15 the tour will make its way through Guildford before ascending the scenic Surrey Hills and onto the Vale of Holmesdale before returning to London via Dorking and Reigate. The tour will arrive back in London Victoria at 21.45

Passengers will enjoy travelling in luxury onboard the impeccably restored wood-panelled carriages, which will be hauled by one of the following steam locomotives:

• 61306 Mayflower
• 70000 Britannia

Pullman Style Dining:

Includes the highest level of service offering an indulgent and luxury travel experience for passengers with original windows, armchair seating and tables set with crisp linen, embellished crockery, fresh flowers and glassware. Passengers will be welcomed with a glass of Champagne and will enjoy a specially created three-course menu designed by Executive Chef Nicholas Allen. All food is prepared on board the train using locally sourced seasonal produce.

First Class:

Includes the same luxury carriages as Pullman Style Dinings, alongside a welcome glass of sparkling wine and a savoury snack box.

Premium Standard:

Includes seating in tables of four with large windows perfect for the incredible views and tea and coffee. An array of refreshments is available to buy via the buffet bar and passengers are also able to bring their own picnics on board.
