To celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen Consort, on Bank Holiday Monday, 8th May, the Spa Valley Railway at Tunbridge Wells in Kent is offering guests the chance to combine the elegance of travelling on a magnificent steam train with a quintessential British Afternoon Tea.
Whilst travelling behind a historic steam locomotive through the glorious High Weald countryside in the Garden of England, passengers can look out for Bluebells as the train passes ancient woodland, spring meadows, and Oast houses.
The trip will be the perfect way to relax and at the same time enjoy a sumptuous selection of freshly prepared traditional finger sandwiches, savoury snacks, scones, and cakes, which will all be available in a hamper on your table.
Anyone who has gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, or vegan dietary requirements can be accommodated provided that tickets are booked in advance at the special requirements advised at the time of booking.
