The Spa Valley Railway is inviting families to celebrate Mother’s Day with “a fabulous steam train journey together with a tasty Sunday lunch” on board the High Weald Belle.
The steam train will travel along the picturesque Spa Valley Railway line between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge. From the carriage, passengers may catch a glimpse of High Rocks and the Groombridge Place Estate.
While on board the ‘Sunday Lunch Train’, passengers will be served a meal with a starter, a main course of turkey roast or vegetarian alternative, and dessert.
The experience is £60 per person and the train departs at 12.55pm. Book in advance on the Spa Valley Railway website.

- Cream Tea on board a steam train departing at 14.45pm. This is the perfect way to enjoy a scone with clotted cream, jam and a pot of tea! £20 per adult and £15 per child.
- Murder Mystery Fish and Chip Supper experience. Join one of the popular Murder Mystery evenings and try your hand at solving a murder. The evening starts at 18.15 and includes a fish and chip supper and is £55 per adult.
The railway operates dining trains as an essential means of raising money to continue operating its services for all to enjoy.
