CrossCountry has seconded John Robson to the position of Regional Director for the East Midlands & East Anglia area. Moving from his present role as Regional Director for West Midlands & North West, John’s position is being taken on by Nick Chadwick whose previous role was Regional Driver Manager for the West Midlands & North West.
In their positions as Regional Directors, John and Nick will be fully responsible for both the operational and financial performance of the region.
With more than 30 years of rail industry experience, John has undertaken an array of operation roles for West Midlands Trains and Virgin Trains alongside the delivery of successful projects in consultancy ahead of joining CrossCountry in May 2020 as Regional Director for West Midlands and North West.
Nick is also extremely experienced within the rail sector having held a good number of positions including operational roles such as Head of Drivers and is heavily focused on bringing positive change to benefit both the business and its employees.

Nick said: “I’m looking forward to building on the strong relationships John has already fostered as well as forging new ones. It is a great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge in other areas, building upon my strong operational experience.”
John said: “The challenges that CrossCountry faces differ from region to region. I am looking forward to getting to know the East Midlands and East Anglia region in more depth to ensure that we deliver a robust and customer-centric service.”
