The Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells will be running its popular Real Ale & Cider Trains on the 25th of March, 17th of June and the 4th & 5th of August 2023. The trains will give people a fantastic opportunity to sit back and enjoy the scenic views of High Weald whilst enjoying a pint.
The Real ale and cider which will be served have been specially chosen from two local breweries and cideries based in Kent and surrounding counties. Regular breweries used for the events include Westerham, Cellar Head, Harvey’s, Pig & Porter and High Weald with some further ales and ciders coming from different areas around the country however the majority are from Kent.
Each of the Real Ale and Cider trips takes around two and a half hours and will see the bar carriage also serving an array of hot drinks, soft drinks and snacks which can be purchased during the trip.
The experiences cost just £15 per person which also includes one free pint per person and there will be two journeys to Eridge departing Tunbridge Wells West at 19:00 and returning between 21:00 and 22:00.
For those enjoying a drink, why not leave your car at home as the Tunbridge Wells West station situation is only a 15-minute pleasant walk from the mainline station which also has the added benefit of featuring a number of establishments where a good beer can be enjoyed.
The Real Ale & Cider trains are only available for those ages 18+ and ID will be required during the event ahead of the purchase or consumption of alcohol.
