Chiltern Railways has launched a January Seat Sale, with 50,000 seats on offer at a 50% saving, so that advance tickets between Oxford and London are now just £2.70 one-way.
The £2.70 one-way fare for advance tickets between Oxford and London is just one example, as the 50% reduction applies to all of Chiltern’s trains. For example, advance tickets between stations in the West Midlands and London are now only £3.20 one-way.
These half-price fares are on sale until Monday, 6th February, subject to availability, and the promotion may end sooner if the 50,000 seats on offer have sold out. Tickets can be used for travel anytime between Tuesday, 17th January and Tuesday, 14th March, except for when engineering works are taking place or there are major events taking place at Wembley Stadium. In the event of industrial action, some journeys may also be cancelled or subject to change.
Advance tickets are only valid for travel on the day and travel time shown on the tickets, and railcards cannot be used in conjunction with the offer. However, they can be used in conjunction with Chiltern’s two-for-one offer for entry to some of the best attractions across the company’s network. Discounted tickets can be purchased through the Chiltern Railways’ website at www.chilternrailways.co.uk or its app.
Further information about the offer can be found at www.chilternrailways.co.uk/jan-sale, whilst full Terms and Conditions can be found online at www.chilternrailways.co.uk/january-seat-sale-terms-and-conditions.
Eleni Jordan, Commercial & Customer Strategy Director, said: “We want to welcome back customers, both loyal and new, to the Chiltern network this year with the great offer of 50,000 discounted fares. We are thrilled to be able to offer the communities we serve the chance to travel with us at such a low cost.
Customers should book quickly to secure their ticket on the Chiltern Railways app, as when the 50,000 bargain seats are gone – they’re gone!”
