Hull Trains is continuing its support for community activities this year by renewing its partnerships with both of ‘s Super League teams, Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers.

As the company continues to play a role at the heart of the community, it has a wide range of sponsorships lined up for this year, the first of which is its support for both of the city’s Super League clubs for a second successive season.

Both in-stadium and digital branding are included in the partnership, so Hull trains will gain exposure to supporters who either watch games in person or on Sky Sports or Channel 4.

This year’s Super League season runs from February to September, and supporters can be part of the matchday experience with Hull KR matches by taking part in a ‘Head for The Heart’ competition at halftime during home matches.

Louise Mendham, Service Delivery Director at Hull Trains, explains: “Everyone at Hull Trains is looking forward to a positive year and you can expect to see our familiar heart branding when out and about as we continue our commitment to support community organisations throughout 2023.

“Rugby league is close to the hearts of so many people in our city, so it makes perfect sense to once again get behind both of Hull’s Super League clubs. We wish both Hull FC and Hull KR the very best of luck this season.”

Paul Lakin, Hull KR Chief Executive is also pleased to see Hull Trains continue their partnership for 2023, saying: “We’ve really enjoyed our partnership with Hull Trains so far, so we are looking forward to continuing the journey in 2023. Not only will they be partnering with us digitally, but they’ve added their support to Craven Streat by branding the stage area, which provides such a brilliant platform for local talent across the region.

“We all enjoyed the half-time in-game partnership with them last season, which will be back this year with a fresh twist, so there will be a chance for fans to be involved again and win return train tickets to London.”

James Clark, Hull FC Chief Executive, added: “It is pleasing to see our partnership with Hull Trains continue to grow, having first joined forces way back in 2010. They are one of the region’s most widely recognised partners, with a genuine commitment to the local community and their local clubs.

“Our digital partnership has delivered significant brand exposure and we will be enhancing that further this season with some exciting opportunities for our supporters in the spring.

“After a challenging period for both sport and the transport industry, we’re looking forward to continuing our work with the team at Hull Trains to see how we can further develop this great partnership over the months and years ahead.”
