The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has revealed the popular dining service will feature a 50th Anniversary Pullman Menu in order to celebrate its Golden Anniversary
Departing from Grosmont Station, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway’s dining experience is held onboard one of its historic Pullman Dining Carriages which have been lovingly restored back to their former glory.
The luxurious carriages offer guests a chance to sit back and relax in real style whilst enjoying a mouth-watering meal with friends and family. The railways Pullman Train Manager is always available from welcoming guests onboard to bidding farewell as the journey reaches its end.
From March the 30th, the Pullman service will operate right through the 2023 season on a number of dates  with an array of delicious menus available including:
- Spring Moorlander from the 30th of March to the 11th of June will see dishes including Dales Grass Fed Pork Loin; Goats Cheese and Beetroot Pie; and Seafood Bouillabaisse
- 50th Anniversary from the 27th of April to the 7th of May will see a celebration of the North Yorkshire Moors Railways  half-century with a menu featuring tasty delights such as Salmon Gravlax; Asparagus & Wensleydale Tart; a Trio of Desserts
- Afternoon Tea Week from the 15th to the 18th of June will feature flavoursome offerings such as a selection of delicious finger sandwiches; Chef’s Homemade Cheese and Chive Scone; Victoria Sponge; Lemon Posset
- Summer Moorlander from the 22nd of June to the 3rd of September will give guests a chance to savour dishes such as Dressed Whitby Crab Salad; Smoked Duck Breast with Wild Berry Dressing and Roast Chicken Supreme
- Yorkshire Day from the 27th of July to the 6th of August will see local food championed with Roast Leg of Yorkshire Lamb; Vegetable and Wensleydale Bake; and Yorkshire Seafood Chowder in a bid to celebrate the very best of Yorkshire’s finest produce
- Autumn Moorlander from the 7th of September to the 5th of November will see winter warming dishes such as Chef’s Homemade Spiced Parsnip Soup; Radford’s butcher’s hand-made Steak and Ale Pie; slow cooked Lamb Henry
Guests can also enjoy a private dining experience via the heritage railways Private Coupe which seats up to four people in their own compartment and can be enjoyed by upgrading to a Private Coupe Drinks Package which also features a complimentary bottle of house wine and a bottle of sparkling or still water.
