London North Eastern Railway has now released tickets for the Easter period

London North Eastern Railway has released thousands of tickets for the Easter holiday period which is always hugely popular as people look to get away, explore the rail operator’s 956-mile route or get together with friends and family.

Tickets are available for service from Maundy Thursday on the 6th of April through to Easter Monday on the 10th of April 2023, tickets are also available up to and including Friday the 14th of April 2023 for weekday services.

Customers of can sign up for ticket alerts via their website which will keep them fully up to date with ticket releases.

David Horne, Managing Director at LNER, said:“We know how much people look forward to Spring and, for many, Easter is the first opportunity for people to get together or enjoy an Easter escape. The LNER route serves many fantastic destinations between Scotland, North East England, Yorkshire, the East Midlands and London. Our Easter tickets are on sale now to help people plan ahead and we look forward to welcoming customers onboard to enjoy the LNER experience.”

To get the best deals on tickets book direct using the London North Eastern Railway website or app which has no booking fees for customers who can also opt to receive live journey alerts, reserve their seating as well as get a £5 credit if they opt to sign up for the rail operators loyalty programme LNER Perks which provides an extra 2% discount on future purchases.

Customers are advised to reserve seating when they book their tickets as they are anticipated to be extremely popular.

  1. Could be a total waste of time to arrange especially if the rail strikes continue and this period is a prime time to strike if the current impasse cannot be resolved?
