Next Saturday, 26th November, because of planned industrial action, there will be no train services on any route operated by West Midlands Railway (WMR).
The industrial action is being taken by employees of West Midlands Railway who are members of the train drivers’ union, ASLEF. It will also affect other train operators, so the advice for anyone intending to travel on that day is to make alternative arrangements, and to check with www.wmr.uk/industrialaction and nationalrail.co.uk for the latest information.
On Friday, 25th and Sunday, 27th November, West Midlands Railway expects to be able to operate a normal service, but because of the knock-on effects of the strike, there may be changes to services during the late evening on Friday and early morning on Sunday.
Jonny Wiseman, West Midlands Railway’s customer experience director, said: “It is disappointing that once again our customers’ travel plans will be impacted as a result of this industrial action.
“We will not be running any trains on Saturday 26 November so passengers should not attempt to travel with us and will need to make alternative arrangements.
“Any passengers holding tickets for travel on Saturday can use them on an alternative day or receive a full refund.”
