In the annual GRESB assessment, Porterbrook has secured itself a top score and has been named the Transport Sector Leader.

The result highlights the company’s commitment to sustainability, with key initiatives including the development of the UK’s first hydrogen-powered train HydroFLEX.

They have also launched their battery-diesel hybrid vehicle HybridFLEX into passenger service which majorly cuts down on CO2 emissions and reduces noise and air pollution.

GRESB assesses and benchmarks the ESG performance each year and provides insight for financial marks on sustainability topics.

Porterbrook was first in its peer group and scored a five star rating for the fourth year in a row.
