The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway became a Harry Potter wonderland over the weekend as winners of the Lego competition visited the railway.
Three families had an experience to remember on the heritage line, which runs for five miles from Keighley to Oxenhope.
The competition was launched in celebration of the new Lego Harry Potter set.
Oakworth Station, made famous for The Railway Children and Railway Children Return films, was turned into a grand hall for a feast.
The winners then joined the train for a private screen of Harry Potter onboard.
As a winner, they received
- A journey and overnight stay on the LEGO Hogwarts Express train at the KWVR
- Dinner and breakfast in the Great Station Hall
- Overnight stay in the Hogwarts Express Common Room Carriage
- Harry Potter Movie screening
- Return travel to Yorkshire to join the train
- An abundance of LEGO Harry Potter sets to play with as well as the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Express set to take home
LMS Ivatt No. 41241 was renumbered to 5972 and featured a new headboard.
