A special railtour will be operated by Class 315s to celebrate the outstanding years of service of the class, the Branch Line Society has announced.

The charity tour will be operated by MTR Elizabeth Line and will run between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield.

With an onboard raffle, all profits from the tour will be donated to Railway Children.

2x Class 315s will operate the tour, set to run on the 26th November, and will take in unusual lines, including the Up Passenger Avoider at Ilford, Down Passenger Avoider at Manor Park, Up Passenger Loop at Shenfield as well as running on the mainlines.

Fares will cost £31.50 per person, with unaccompanied under 18s benefit from a £15 reduction in fares.
