Southeastern will not be able to operate any train services on the 1st and 5th and a limited service only on the 8th of October.
Planned strike action will impact Southeastern railway services substantially with no services running on Saturday the 1st and Wednesday the 5th of October. Saturday the 8th of October will also see limited services running as further strike action is set to take place.
Sunday the 2nd of October will see London terminals expected to be available from 7am in order to support runners heading to the start of the London Marathon at Greenwich.
Services are expected to return to normal from Monday the 3rd of October from 7am.
Scott Brightwell, Southeastern Operations and Safety Director said: “If these strikes go ahead there’ll be significant disruption. We are unable to run any Southeastern trains on the 1st or the 5th. We’re expecting to run a very limited service on the 8th. We strongly advise our customers to avoid travelling at these times.
“We recognise the inconvenience this causes and offer our sincere apologies. We continue to work as hard as we can to get normal services resumed as quickly as we can.”

Details are also available via the website of how customers who have already purchased a ticket can claim a refund.
Details regarding refunds and compensation are as follows:
Customers who have already purchased a ticket are able to apply for a refund if they cannot travel.
Daily ticket holders are able to claim a full refund with no administration fee if they opt not to travel.
Advance ticket holders have two options and can either apply for a full refund with no administration fee or return to the place of purchase in exchange for an eVoucher which is valid for 12 months and would cover the cost of a ticket in the future.
Season ticket holders of either Flexi, monthly or longer are able to use Southeastern’s ‘Delay Repay’ scheme in order to get a refund if they are unable to travel during industrial action. Season ticket customers are asked to choose the reason for the delay as ‘Industrial Action – did not travel’.
Flexi ticket holders who want to receive ‘Delay Repay’ refunds need to have activated a pass for the day which is being claimed for.
Weekly ticket holders are advised not to buy Weekly Season tickets
