Steam locomotive 46115 Scots Guardsman to visit Liverpool, Sheffield and Scarborough this Saturday

46115 Scots Guardsman will be visiting Liverpool, Sheffield and this Saturday, 10th September, as it hauls The Coast to Coast Express.

Departing at 06:23, the steam tour will pass through Rainhill (06:38), Newton-le-Willows (06:47), Eccles (07:01), Victoria (07:15), Romiley (08:47), Grindleford (09:35), Sheffield (09:48), Pontefract Baghill (10:27), Church Fenton (11:13), (11:56) and Scarborough at 12:57.

The return trip will depart Scarborough at 15:52 and will see 46115 pass through York (16:50), Church Fenton (17:10) and Milford Loop at 17:33.

Here, diesel replaces steam and the tour will head back to Liverpool via Wakefield Kirkgate (19:07), Hebden Bridge (20:01), Manchester Victoria (20:44), St Helens Junction (21:09) and Liverpool Lime Street at 21:37.
