70000 Britannia is to make a visit to Oxenholme Lake District this Tuesday (27th September) , taking passengers to the Lake District as part of a Steam Dreams holiday.
Departing London Victoria behind 34046 Braunton at 08:00, the tour will pass through Shepherds Bush (08:18), Wembley Central (09:02), Hemel Hempstead (09:19), Milton Keynes Central (09:50), Rugby (10:26), Lichfield Trent Valley (11:22), Stafford (11:41), and Crewe at 12:15, where the 70000 Britannia takes over.
With 70000 Britannia now on the train, the tour will depart at 13:02 and will pass through Warrington Bank Quay (13:40), Leyland (14:06), Blackburn (14:40), Clitheroe (15:11), Hellifield (16:06), Settle (16:31), Garsdale (17:05), Appleby (17:28), Armathwaite (18:17), Penrith North Lakes (19:24) and Oxenholme Lake District at 19:54.
Once passengers are off on their way into the Lake District, the train will return to Crewe via Lancaster (20:21), Preston (21:27), Wigan North Western (22:13), Acton Bridge (22:52), and Crewe at 23:20.
