The Severn Valley Railway has announced its final visiting locomotive for its upcoming Autumn Steam Gala.
Anne from the Perrygrove Railway is visiting for the gala and will be running for all four days at The Engine House at Highley.
It will appear in its purple livery and joins 45231 The Sherwood Forester, 9351 and 1873 Jessie as visitors for the gala.
The locomotive has never visited the Severn Valley Railway before, but will be in operation alongside 7714, 43106, 75069, 2857, 1501, 70 ‘Elizabeth II’ as well as 4930 ‘Hagley Hall’, which makes it first gala appearance after a 36 year absence.
The event will include goods trains, a narrow gauge railway at The Engine House, and an intensive timetable running until Midnight on both Friday and the Saturday.
Timetables with loco allocations have already been released, so time to get planning your day out!
