Northern is now in partnership with Blackpool Transport to allow customers tickets to cover more areas.
Passengers travelling on Northern trains to Blackpool can now buy a ‘through ticket’ which covers trams and buses in Blackpool.
Blackpool Transport is the town’s bus and tram operator and this partnership allows people to travel out from Blackpool North or Blackpool South.
More information on ‘through tickets’ can be found at: www.blackpooltransport.com.
Chris Jackson, regional director for Northern, said: “This partnership is a great example of Northern finding ways to make our customer’s journeys easier.
“We’re proud to be working with Blackpool Transport to help connect thousands of our customers with their work, leisure and education destinations.”

How is this different to the plusbus scheme? Was Blackpool not part of plusbus, why didn’t they just join that scheme
I can’t see anything on https://www.blackpooltransport.com/. Is there a more specific link?
