Steam locomotive to pass through Dawlish this Saturday

Either 70000 Britannia or 34046 Braunton is set to haul part of The English Riviera Express this Saturday, 6th August 2022.

The tour starts from at 06:40 with a diesel locomotive and will pass through Tame Bridge Parkway (06:53), (07:33), Kidderminster (07:46), Droitwich Spa (08:01), Worcester Shrub Hill (08:13), Cheltenham Spa (08:39), Bristol Parkway (09:32), Bristol Temple Meads (09:47), Taunton (10:28), and Norton Fitzwarren at 10:34.

Here, the steam locomotive takes over the train. Departing Norton Fitzwarren at 10:59, the train will continue via Tiverton Parkway (11:15), (11:35), (11:52), Paignton (12:32) and Kingswear at 13:15.

After time in Kingswear, the train will depart at 16:35 and will pass through Paignton (17:21), Abbot (17:41), Dawlish (17:51), Exeter St Davids (18:17), Taunton (19:21 – Diesel Hauled From Here), Bristol Temple Meads (20:12), Bristol Parkway (20:26), Cheltenham Spa (2:24), Worcester Shrub Hill (21:49), Droitwich Spa (22:09), Kidderminster (22:31), Stourbridge Junction (22:45), Tame Bridge Parkway (23:19) and Wolverhampton at 23:34..
