South Western Railway are now inviting proposals and bids for their Customer and Communities Improvement Fund (CCIF).
The fund supports community projects that they aim to complete over a year, with previous years seeing over 70 projects valued at over £6 million.
These projects helped important causes local to the area and other initiatives that had social value and benefits.
They will be welcoming bids from grassroot or neighbourhood groups, elected representatives, charities, local authorities, civic societies, sports and social clubs, alongside any others who have ideas for the fund to help their community.
the closing date for the bids is Friday 16th September, with projects to be started and completed between 1st April 2023 and 31st March 2024.

CCIF Manager, Veronika Krcalova, said: “We are delighted to invite community organisations to apply for funding for their projects from the Customer and Communities Improvement Fund.
“Backing those initiatives that benefit local communities around our stations is just one of the ways in which SWR can show its support for the people who live and work on our network.
“I look forward to seeing all of the brilliant bids and applications we receive.”
You can apply now using an easy to follow application form, supported by a guidance booklet available at: https://www.southwesternrailway.com/ccif`
