A new coffee shop has opened on railway station for passengers.

SOHO Coffee Co. opened its first PICCOLO coffee shop of the statin concourse, which offers both fresh food and coffee.

The coffee shop opened earlier this week, providing food and drinks throughout the day for commuters.

Annamaria Izzard, head of stations at , said:

“Our team welcomes millions of passengers to Northampton station every year and this new coffee shop on the concourse will enhance the travelling experience.

“SOHO PICCOLO will provide a greater travel experience for daily commuters as they head off on their journeys.”

Penny Manuel, managing director at SOHO Coffee Co., said:

“Building on our two recent very successful openings at Bristol and Birmingham airports there is clearly an opportunity for a smaller format to sit either as stand-alone units or to act as secondary units to the full SOHO footprint.

“SOHO PICCOLO is a highly efficient format for platforms, barrier lines and pier units, providing a strong guest experience through combining quick hot fresh food and premium coffee.”
