The Santa Special services at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway are always a big hit with families and this December will see the festive train back in action with Santa and his elves and of course, the famous Santa Express.

The Christmas trains can be boarded at either Pickering or Grosmont Stations* with guests able to enjoy a fabulously festive experience as they travel to meet Mr Claus and his cheerful helpers.

Santa and the elves move through the heritage carriages, giving children a chance to meet Father Christmas, who has a special gift for every child on board!

The magical adventure sees a return journey on board the Santa Express and takes an hour.

Tickets can be purchased now with the special services running four times each day on the 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th of December and every day from the 17th to the 24th of December.
