Members of the Class 40 Preservation Society can look forward to a fantastic day at the East Lancashire Railway in Bury where the charity is based.
The event will take place on the 24th of September 2022.
The society has chartered a train to run 3 trips for the Members Day on Saturday the 24th of September and will cost members just £10 to take part. The train will be made up of 5 vehicles, 3 of which will be standard, there will also be a buffet car and a brake van.
The event is for members only but there is still time to sign up for membership which is just £27.50 for the year.
The event will no doubt provide a wonderful day for those attending, there is also a chance to increase the fun by rounding up the number of trips from 3 to 4 by taking part in the evening Beerex which costs a further £10 and will also be hauled by D345.
Members of the society who attends are able to buy a guest ticket for £10 for the 3-trip Members Day, membership is not necessary for travel on the Beerex in the evening.
