Two steam locomotives are set to visit Plymouth this Wednesday

70000 Britannia and 34046 Braunton are set to haul part of The Golden Hind this Wednesday, 13th July 2022.

The tour starts from Slough with a diesel locomotive.

Departing Slough at 07:44, the tour will pass through (07:51), Reading (08:07), Didcot Parkway (08:37), Swindon (09:46), (10:04), Bath Spa (10:21), Bristol Temple Meads (10:37), Taunton (11:18), and at 11;25.

Here, the steam locomotive takes over the train. Departing Norton Fitzwarren at 11:51, the train will continue via Tiverton Parkway (12:07), (12:25), (12:37), Newton Abbot (12:48), Totnes (13:31) and Plymouth at 14:01.

After time in Plymouth, the train will depart at 16:31 and will pass through Ivybridge (16:50), Newton Abbot (17:16), Dawlish (17:25), Exeter St Davids (17:38), Taunton (19:05- diesel hauled from here), Bristol Temple Meads (19:54), Bath Spa (20:17), Chippenham (20:36), Swindon (20:58), Didcot Parkway (21:41), Reading (22:09), Maidenhead (22:27) and Slough at 22:38.
