Steam locomotive to visit Dawlish with High Wycombe to Kingswear tour this Saturday

Either 70000 Britannia or 34046 Braunton is set to haul part of The English Riviera Express this Saturday, 9th July 2022.

The tour starts from with a diesel locomotive. Departing High Wycombe at 06:40 and will pass through (06:53), Haddenham and Thame Parkway (07:03), Bicester Village (07:20), Oxford Parkway (07:32), Oxford (07:41), Swindon (08:41), Chippenham (09:00), (09:19), Westbury (09:34), Taunton (10:24), and Norton Fitzwarren at 10:31.

Here, the steam locomotive takes over the train. Departing Norton Fitzwarren at 10:59, the train will continue via Tiverton Parkway (11:15), Exeter St Davids (11:35), (11:52), Paignton (12:32) and at 13:15.

After time in Kingswear, the train will depart at 16:35 and will pass through Paignton (17:21), Newton Abbot (17:41), Dawlish (17:51), Exeter St Davids (18:17), Taunton (19:18 – diesel hauled from here), Castle Cary (19:43), Westbury (20:03), Melksham (20:22), Chippenham (20:37), Swindon (21:04), Oxford (21:56), Bicester Village (22:15), Haddenham and Thame Parkway (22:32), Princes Risborough (22:43) and High Wycombe at 23:00.
