46115 Scots Guardsman is scheduled to haul this weekend’s Cumbrian Mountain Express.

Running on the 16th July 2022, 46115 is set to haul the Carnforth – Carlisle – Preston section.

The tour will depart Crewe at 07:44 and will pass through Runcorn (08:09), Liverpool Lime Street (08:46), Broad Green (09:18), St Helens Central (09:33), Wigan North Western (09:52), Preston (10:14), Lancaster (10:35) and Carnforth North Junction at 10:43.

From here, 46115 is added to the train. Departing at 11:26, the train will head through Oxenholme Lake District (11:41), Penrith North Lakes (12:20) and Carlisle at 12:42.

After time in Carlisle, the train will depart at 14:22 and will pass through Appleby (15:05), Garsdale (15:43), Hellifield (16:14), Clitheroe (17:01), Blackburn (17:26), Preston (18:05 – diesel hauled from here), Wigan North Western (18:56), St Helens Central (19:28), Roby (19:47), Broad Green (19:59), Liverpool Lime Street (20:12), Runcorn (20:40) and Crewe at 21:09.
