British Transport Police are investigating a theft that happened on the 19th of June.
They are now releasing CCTV images of the men believed to have been involved in the £40,000 cable theft.
Shortly after 8pm on the 19th of June, British Transport Police believed that three men attempted to cover up the CCTV cameras at an area of the railway in Pease Pottage.
They are believed to have been involved in stealing a large amount of cable from the area.
Officers hope that by releasing the CCTV images they can identify the men who may have information that could help their investigation. All three CCTV images can be found on the British Transport Police’s website.
Officers are asking that if anyone recognises the men in the images to contact them by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 80 of 25/07/22. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Surely someone will be able to identify the thieving pond-life from these (good, clear) images!
Then they give a No Comment interview and released without charge.
Who sees these photos? Expect the police circulate them amongst their own.
