London Golf Club to host Railway Benefit Fund’s Annual Golf Day this September

The Railway Benefit Funds Annual Golf Day is making its 18th outing and this year will be sponsored by Abellio Ancillary Services. The day provides a fantastic chance for company team-building or a special day out for business clients.

The rail industry has organised the well-loved event to take place at Golf Club in on Thursday the 1st of September 2022

The event will see full use of Hendon’s greens, 18 holes, competitions and the opportunity to win the Cup. Teams will be welcomed with refreshments at the golf club in the morning prior to heading to the greens where a wonderful day of golf awaits and will be followed by a delicious three-course meal ahead of the winners being revealed and the charity raffle being drawn.

Ian Jeffrey, Ancillary Services Director at Abellio UK, said: “Abellio Ancillary Services have been attending the RBF Golf Day for many years, and I am delighted that in 2022 we are sponsoring the event. Not only is the day brilliant for rewarding staff and networking, but most importantly it raises money for this vital industry charity.”

The day costs £700 for a team of four with all money raised from Railway Benefit Fund Annual Golf Day event going directly to support railway people and their dependents through difficult times. Railway Benefit Fund offers financial support to current, former and retired rail workers for issues such as debt, redundancy, illness and domestic abuse.

This Golf Day follows on from The Royal Train that was operated by 70000 Britannia which raised funds for The Railway Benefit Fund.
