6233 Duchess of Sutherland is set to be back on the rails again, this time hauling a tour to Newcastle.
The tour originates in Tyseley with a diesel locomotive. Departing Tyseley Steam Trust at 07:54, the tour will pass through Coleshill Parkway (08:21), Tamworth (08:50), Burton-on-Trent (09:08). Derby (09:48), Chesterfield (10:38), Church Fenton (11:53) and York at 12:10.
Here, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland takes over. Departing at 12:48, the steam locomotive will pass through Thirsk (13:20), Northallerton (13:30), Darlington (13:45), Durham (14:08) and Newcastle at 14:28.
After a couple of hours in Newcastle, steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will depart at 17:12 and will pass through Darlington (18:03), York (19:07), Moorthorpe (20:38), Chesterfield (21:18), Derby (22:02), Burton-on-Trent (22:46), Tamworth (23:00), Coleshill Parkway (23:21), and Tyseley Steam Trust at 23:57.

The timings are insulting to a locomotive of this power and stature.
An hour from Darlington to York is ludicrous. Its been really held back, even on the slow lines.
Please give these engines a chance to show they can do in future.
