Steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland to haul tour through Cambridge to Windsor

6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be passing through Cambridge this Saturday (14th May) as it heads for Windsor and Eton Riverside.

6233 is hauling The Windsor Flyer between and Windsor.

Departing Norwich behind a diesel locomotive, the train will pass through Wymondham (07:09), Attleborough (07:17), Thetford (07:35), Brandon (07:46) and Ely at 08:10.

With 6233 Duchess of Sutherland now on the train, the tour will depart Ely at 08:41 and will pass through Cambridge (09:01), (09:49), Stevenage (09:49), Watton-at-Stone (10:10), Hertford North (10:35), (11:01), South Acton (11:43), (12:08), Staines (12:27), (12:36) and Windsor and Eton Riverside at 12:41.

Here, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be replaced by a diesel locomotive for the return journey. Departing Windsor at 17:17, the tour will retrace its steps back to Norwich via Brentford (17:43), Finsbury Park (18:45), Welwyn Garden City (19:08), Royston (19:38), Cambridge (20:06), Waterbeach (20:15), Ely (20:27), Brandon (21:08), Thetford (21:20), Attleborough (21:39), Wymondham (21:49) and Norwich (22:14)
