Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower will be on the mainline again this Tuesday, 5th April, as it hauls a special railtour to Bath Spa from London.
Departing London Victoria at 08:45, the locomotive will pass through Clapham Junction (08:59), Brentford (09:14), Staines (09:33), Ascot (09:54), Reading (10:33), Newbury Racecourse (11:09), Bedwyn (12:00) and Bath Spa at 13:05.
After time in Bath Spa, the train will depart at 16:56 and will pass through Bradford-on-Avon (17:11), Newbury (18:28), Reading (19:31), Earley (19:51), Ascot (20:13), Staines (20:51), Hounslow (21:12), Clapham Junction (21:28) and London Victoria at 21:57.

a longggggg time ago i road on the footplate of the MAYFLOWER only a short distance from grimsby fish docks to hainton halt which is no longer there .the thing is she was not posh like now she was a mucky scruffy black thing! but i loved it was the treat of my life i assume she was hauling fish to billingsgate?long live the MAYFLOWER forever in my memory 73 years old now but so many memories of trawlers and fish docks .best wishes all alan.
