Steam locomotive 7029 Clun Castle will be back in steam on the mainline on Saturday 5th March 2022
The GWR Castle locomotive is hauling an excursion from Tyseley to Hereford
The railtour departs Tyseley Locomotive Works at 08:13 and will then pass through Birmingham New Street (08:28), Wolverhampton (09:00), Cosford (09:12), Craven Arms (10:21) and Leominster at 10:40 before arriving into Hereford at 11:01.
After time to explore Hereford, 7029 will depart at 13:31 and will pass through Abergavenny (14:02), Severn Tunnel Junction (14:57), Pilning (15:08), Bristol Parkway (15:28), Swindon (16:25), Oxford (17:53), Banbury (18:20), Leamington Spa (18:42), Dorridge (19:06), Tyseley (19:19), Birmingham Snow Hill (19:34) and Tyseley Steam Trust at 20:03.

Would you please stop referring to 7029 Clun Castle as a GWR Castle locomotive. It was built by British Railways in 1950.
