Over the last 18 months, a number of new features have been added to the RailAdvent website and has seen a positive growth in readership with over 10 million views in 2021.
With 2022 now upon us, its time to deliver more features and benefits, and this is where we need your help!
Whilst we have a number of ideas that we would like to implement, we would like to get your feedback on what we currently produce and what new features you would like to see.
So, we are launching a new competition which will run until the end of January 2022, with two prizes up for grabs. 1st place will receive a 10 inch Amazon Fire HD tablet (worth £160), and 2nd place will receive a 7 inch Amazon Fire tablet (worth £50).
To enter, all you need to do is drop us an email at [email protected]Â and tell us what you like and dont like about RailAdvent and what you would like to see in the future. You can include screenshots if you like.
Stuck for ideas? Then think about our news coverage, mainline steam info, our community, our online shop or our RailAdvent Plus membership and the benefits provided.
Looking into the future, should we have an app? Should we have a larger variety of items in our shop? More tour timings, including diesels? Instead of a weekly newsletter, should we have a weekly digital magazine? More train simulation content?
Terms and Conditions:
- You must be a resident of the UK to win a prize, although we welcome feedback from around the world.
- The RailAdvent team will choose the two winners from all the entries received. In the event that two people submit similar feedback, we will draw a winner from the entries at random.
- There is no cash alternative
- The competition closes on the 31st January 2022 at 23:59pm

One thing that would make life much easier is to move the help chatline icon to a line on the menu at the top left hand side. It sits in an awkward spot if trying to chat with a friend.

How about a section for modellers to display their layouts and discuss models?
