Nick Farthing, Chair of the Three Rivers Community Rail Partnership and the driving force behind the new offer, said: “This new product provides the mechanism for visiting the Waterside and adjacent New Forest without taking the car. It allows seamless travel on rail, bus, and ferry with just one ticket, encouraging people to spend the day visiting attractions in the area, bringing much-needed visitors to the area and, in turn, supporting the local economy.”
Peter Williams, SWR’s Commercial Director, said: “SWR is delighted to partner with the Three Rivers CRP, and other local transport providers to introduce this new initiative, making it easier than ever before for people to explore a spectacular area of our region without having to bring the car”.
